Future of Work
The future of work is increasingly uncertain. What is clear is that we are in the midst of a major transformation driven by multiple drivers of change. How individuals, companies, cities and governments respond to the upcoming shifts will be pivotal for future economic and social wellbeing, but this is far from straightforward. Some major decisions lie ahead.
Ahead of a speech to MPs in London next month and several subsequent expert discussions, this is a point of view on how, where and why the future of work is in flux.
It explores three key drivers of change as leaders around the world view it – shifting demographics, technology innovation and the organisational response. In addition, we have highlighted several areas where new policy decisions need to be made.

Over the recent past, there has been an enormous revolution in the technological industry in terms of computing and communications. This has been due to a reduction
the costs of communication because of the technological advances and increased competition in the technological sector that has in turn reduced the cost of communication

every one and half years. In the current society, innovations made in the technological industry are bringing about a full range
and the policy makers are actually working on the ways of resolving the effects to do with economic productivity (Berque, Prey, Reed & WIPTE, 2006).
Technology can there be seen as a discrete power with a significant influence, and the impacts of technology are a metaphor. It is there seen as a dynamic force that causes collisions and impacts on the society. Mechanically, technology can be viewed as to be having an impact on the society as it reinforces that technological systems have an independent existence and appears to be having a mass, velocity and a momentum of its own, which drives technology to influence on the society (Karacapilidis, & Raisinghani, 2012).
Thesis Statement
The focus of this study is to establish and interpret the principles of technology and the effects of the technological advancements on the society socially, economically, and politically. The study will take a course of an extensive consultation and seeking data through questionnaires and face-to-face interviews with the respondents. In an attempt to extract a reliable data, the study will use direct interviews more often to establish the level of reality in the responses of the interviewed individuals as this will help in obtaining a more accurate data. Whereas some countries have not fully embrace the use of technology, the dynamism of the world has been driven by technology. In this study, two perspectives have been contrasted, and these are; the impacts caused by technology education in teaching and about the technology on the society (Johnston & Barker, 2002).
Background to the study
Science, technology, and the society are three elements that have been expanding over an extended period and this development started in the year 1960. In the technological view, they history of technology tries to examine technology in its social context. Starting in the early 1960s, some historians questioned the technological determinism, and some of them started developing contextual approaches to the history of the medicine. In the late 1960s, the student and faculty social movements and the European universities starting working for change rather than dispassionate and in the mid 1980 suit was now a decisive moment in the development of the STS .

The world has been evolving in a very swift rate. In just a matter of years modernization has reached countries with leading economies to even those that have limited means of communication or travelling. The last years of the 20th century and the start of the 21st century can be considered to be one of the most evolving eras of human kind. Technology and urbanization have just rocketed to the top, capitalism and profitability have become a priority over other thing and communication or travelling have become faster and easier. One of the main components responsible for all these changes is the computer and the internet, which has slowly paved ways of new online platforms like the Social Media. This innovation has replaced many different things has completely changed the lifestyle of people around the world. Businessman use social media to communicate with other personals, instead of travelling or one to one interacting with them. Online university programs have been created with the help of online video or audio calls, so students don’t need to be present in the class rooms during lectures for attending classes. This essay will talk about the negative and positive effects of social media on kids and adults, especially in the United Arab Emirates. The essay is opinioned, however to prevent bias, I have used sources from scholarly article to support my arguments about social media. The thesis statement for this essay is, Social media is very harmful for kids in UAE because kids get addicted to it easily and it can possess serious safety risks.
The computers were introduced initially in the 20th century for multiple reason, like the Enigma was used to encrypt the messages being sent by the German naval force during the World War 2. Moreover, the computer was also designed to help scientists with quick calculations and results. It is with time that new companies like the Apple and Microsoft, introduced new ways of using the computer. It was never used to be a tool of communication, however things changed further when the interned was established. Like, the computer, it was also very different to what it is today. The internet was used an alternate to phones, as the scientists tended to transfer their results to other places quickly by using it. The next stage was when smartphones were introduced and revolutionized the internet. Everything became portable, from getting information, to communication. Social Media was one of the main innovations during this time and it today, it can be considered to be one of the most influential and important inventions in human history. People of today, from kids to adults always have a phone with themselves, especially in developed and modernized countries like the United States of America, England and United Arab Emirates. Social Media is used by people in these countries in many different forms. YouTube is one of the most profitable and used component of social media today as it all.

- 1. New technologies Trends The current economic climate - and the resulting budget cuts - is one of the most significant trends currently impacting the sector. As a result of the budget cuts, and the challenges and opportunities associated with these, schools are being required to do more with less. Another core trend that is impacting the sector, and society as a whole, is the concept of social connections. Through web apps such as Facebook and Twitter, the world is becoming increasingly interconnected and economies and cultures intertwine more and more. It is not uncommon, for example, for students and faculty in completely different geographic locations to connect virtually. Additionally, social media now dominates as a real-time feed for news, stories and world sentiment. You only need to look at the Arab Spring uprising to see the real impact of the power of social media. A third major trend impacting the sector, and arguably most relevant to the topic of this post, is technology itself. Recent advances in technology have created a wide range of new and exciting ways to engage with content and interact with our devices. Natural user interface (NUI) is a great example of this and the Kinect device has helped brought NUI to a mass audience that is extending much further than just gaming.
