A thriller is a genre aimed at building suspense and keeping audiences guessing. They use twists, turns, and misleading clues to confuse viewers and get their adrenaline pumping. While thrillers and horror movies are sometimes confused, thrillers focus more on plot and character development, while horror emphasizes gore. Shutter Island uses an asylum escape and Teddy's flashbacks and hallucinations to create uncertainty. The Departed builds tension as the audience learns the identities of "rats" before the characters do. Gone Baby Gone features a missing child case in a rough Boston neighborhood and uses lighting, camerawork, and facial expressions to convey feelings of tension.

The original idea was about a girl leaving the hospital to commit suicide, but being stopped. New ideas proposed drawing from other films include a girl stalked by her twin sister, a girl experiencing hallucinations of people disappearing, and hallucinations triggered by a date related to a past trauma. The group settled on 4 main ideas: a girl being stalked by her dead sister and committing suicide; a girl having flashbacks on a bus of her boyfriend's death; a girl leaving the hospital unable to see people actually there; and an isolated girl injuring herself while hallucinating.
This document discusses the nature of truth and how it relates to art and ideas. It argues that truth is objective and absolute, not relative or subjective. It asserts that truth can be known through reason and that contrary or self-defeating statements about the inability to know truth undermine themselves. The document suggests that as artists express ideas through their work, they should be mindful that ideas have consequences and false ideas about truth can lead to false ideas about life.

This document discusses issues that can arise in organizational culture such as gossiping, obsequiousness, acquiescence, conformity, and creating a culture of walking on eggshells where people fear asking questions. It proposes a tool called Object123 that aims to help team members behave respectfully by allowing them to object to offensive behaviors in the moment in a constructive way and bringing in peers to resolve issues if needed, rather than going to HR. The tool is meant to add safety and structure to disagreements while avoiding exhaustion from constant training and workshops. Early feedback on the tool suggests it could help democratize organizational power and eliminate a culture of walking on eggshells.

The dance studio was used to film scenes representing a dark hospital ward setting. Red and white flashing lights created a negative atmosphere. Red lights represented danger and an evil presence threatening the vulnerable innocent character, while white lights represented her loneliness with no one to save her. Shots of the character hiding behind curtains and sitting alone on a stool talking to herself showed she was scared, hiding from something, and abnormal. Most shots imitated actions of a psychopath, taking inspiration from the film "The Ward".

Uses and gratifications theory posits that people actively seek out media to fulfill certain needs. Rather than focusing on how media affects people, UGT examines why and how people consume media. It takes an audience-centered approach to understand mass communication and what motivates people's media use. Romantic comedies aim to provide viewers with an idealized view of relationships that allows them to escape reality, while horror films elicit physical and psychological reactions from audiences by confronting fears and testing their courage. Filmmakers can manipulate sounds and music to influence the emotions and tension felt by viewers based on the genre.

The target audience is 16-20 year olds, and filming locations would be a cafe near Marks Gate and the school drama room to represent the dark room. Props would include a fake knife and blood, photos of the girls, and equipment like a radio and phone

3) Practicing curiosity helped Lucretia address emotions like control

This document discusses the importance of empathy and developing emotional awareness. It notes that empathy requires presence and lack of divisiveness. While technology enables connection, people are more disconnected than ever. Emotions happen faster than reasoning and are influenced by the stories we tell ourselves. True empathy comes from respecting others' perspectives and recognizing that everyone has the same basic needs, emotions, and means of emotional expression. It encourages shifting away from blame and judgement towards understanding others with compassion.
The speaker had a dream about being lost in a forest that didn't seem to have any deeper meaning. However, she believes that many things in life that seem random can have significance, like a book or assignment. While some think everything is planned, she believes things just happen and people have power over their own lives and decisions. For students who have experienced moving due to parents' jobs, having control over their futures is appealing. The speech encourages graduates to make their own choices as they move forward.

This document discusses inspirations for a film concept exploring human psychology and social isolation. It begins by outlining the concept's origins in the Stanford prison experiment and a Harvard study on boredom. It discusses how removing the constraints of reality allows more aggressive exploration of topics. Black Mirror is cited as comparable for pushing the edges of society's beliefs. Music is described as hugely inspirational for developing ideas. Quentin Tarantino's tendency toward violence in film is discussed, arguing it sells an experience rather than reflecting reality. A documentary on social media and isolation further inspired thinking about removing people from social connection.

Mother’s Day and Father’s Day can be opportunities to recognize the diversity of family structures. I have created one post of Mother’s and Father’s Day activities that can be used for both celebrations to combat the gender stereotypes that are normally associated with these special days. I never understood why dads received tie or tool-themed cards while mothers received flower-themed ones. Therefore, I would love to see more inclusive practices when it comes to celebrating these special days.

2. ABOUT US
HELLO, I go by corey rhodes.Several year ago i was experiencing
many mental issues in my life.To cope, I started writing and
producing contect as an outlet do deal with everything that was
going on.Over time release what i was experiencing hoping that
others would relate to ehat i was going through. Now,I release
several things such as short stories, poetry, photography, and
drawings and so much more .The world is a scary place and i
aim to help other to gain a realization that mental illness effects
more people than you think.
4. Have you ever been afraid of the dark? I
do believe I have. And not just when I
was a child i believe everybody is afraid
at one point or another.
PART:1
5. I magine this-I'm sure this is happened to you before-Its
when you're watching a scary movie and the director puts
on his intense suspenseful music and you start to feel afraid
you don't know what that fear is toward but its obviously
directed toward something that happened in the movie. you
hear screeching violins that are quite slow then moves to a
mare and itense pitch that you know that something is just
around the corner.
PART:2
6. So you tell yourself to continue btu you don't
want to go through with it.With the curiosity of
every individual we always want to see what's
around the corner and what around the corner
youcan be anything. It can anything that your
mind has created,
PART:3
7. it could be some monster ot it can be a childhood
memory, you'll never know what it might be. But
when we do look around the corner more
commonly than anything it's nothing our senses
get tense and we listen to thing that don't exist.
PART:4
8. If we know that nothing is around the corner then why do we
always think there is something on the other side?
whenever i turn off lights, which puts me into total drakness,
the second that no light is around me i feel engulfed.like
everything i ever dreamed good and bad swarm aorund me and
the only thing i can feel is my heart drop.
PART:5
9. This is quite an intense feeling within a few seconds and
all that i can think is if another people feel this? To have
such an intense feeling of being alone of not being
around anyone or anything within a split second and to
relize feelings? What makes the "fight or flight"
phenomenon? Now I'm sure this can be answered within
a few second but what if noghting had a reason?
PART:6
