This document discusses three realms of adult learning: embodied or somatic learning, spiritual learning, and narrative learning. Somatic learning involves using the senses and body to relate to learning. Spiritual learning focuses on discipline, commitment, and effort which motivate continued education. Narrative learning uses storytelling and self-reflection to build relationships and connections that reinforce learning. Together, these three approaches - somatic, spiritual, and narrative - provide multidimensional experiences that foster continual adult learning.
