Our Field Sales Executives are an integral part of LivingSocial’s team, securing advertising commitments from the most popular and desirable local businesses including restaurants, spas, nightclubs, retailers, theatres and tourism venues. A genuine excitement and passion for what we are currently achieving is an absolute must.  LivingSocial is big, and it’s only to get bigger.  We’re looking for Field Sales Executives who want to be in an environment where their hard work will make a real difference to the fastest growing technology start-up in the world.  We’re revolutionising the online marketing landscape forever, and we want you to match our ambition.  If you think you can, then please read on.<br />Do You Live, Eat, Drink and Love your City?<br />The Outside Sales team is the engine that has fueled LivingSocial's incredible growth.  As the most outward-facing representative of LivingSocial's brand, our Account Executives interact everyday with our great merchant customers, and revolutionize the way local businesses approach advertising.  Lead by the best in the business, the Account Executive role is the perfect place to take a sales career to the next level through training and mentorship opportunities. We’re not saying it’s going to be easy, but if you have a “hunter” mentality and thrive in a high-activity, fast-paced sales position, we want to talk with you. <br />Responsibilities<br />Aggressively research, develop, and cultivate leads for LivingSocial Deals using a variety of online and offline sources<br />Meet and strive to exceed individual monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals<br />Qualify prospective clients by phone and close deals in-person<br />Using your consultative sales skills, assess the merchant’s goals, propose a customized LivingSocial solution, and obtain commitment<br />Manage relationships with established clients and construct proposals and contracts within selling guidelines to develop and maintain a book of business<br />Communicate ongoing contact and sales activities utilizing Salesforce.com<br />Provide ongoing and up-to-date documentation to the operations team and regularly collaborate best deal strategies<br />Required Skills/Experience<br />Minimum two (2) years of sales experience is required. Passion for selling online advertising, direct marketing, local advertising or pharmaceuticals are a plus<br />Active experience utilizing CRM systems and working knowledge other technologies. Being technically savvy is a must in order to succeed in this role<br />Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, very high activity sales role<br />Demonstrate top-notch communication and presentation skills with the ability to creatively sell at all decision-making levels<br />Superior organizational skills<br />Strong knowledge of social media such as Facebook and Twitter<br /> Thrives on working with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity to meet deadlines, and is relentlessly persistent in a competitive marketplace<br />Have own transportation<br />Compensation & Perks<br />Competitive base + Unlimited commission potential based on the success of your promotions<br />Medical, Dental, 401K<br />Ongoing contests and rewards programs including our annual sales trip to a 5 star resort<br />Ongoing training and development opportunities<br />First class tools and programs to help you exceed goals including appointment setters, iPads, and merchant service support<br />Fun and fast paced environment<br />
