A NEW NARRATIVE FOR THE CHARITABLE AND NONPROFIT SECTOR
We are working in partnership with others
to start a New Narrative — a conversation
with Canadians about our sector — who we
are, what we do and how we are making
a difference. While our organizations are
trusted and generously supported, we
know we can do a better job explaining
our role and contributions.
Join the conversation at:

• Engaging the sector: leading a series of
community conversations
• Identifying regional leaders and champions
to help advance the conversations

Advancing the ConversationPHASE 4:
Collectively, the non-profit sector in BC has
a tremendous story to tell!
We want to hear from you! Our survey
will arrive by mail soon. Complete the survey to share your thoughts
and add your stories. We will use the results from the survey to develop
a report which reflects the full richness and diversity of the non-profit
sector in BC. By participating in the survey you have a chance to
win an iPad.
Building a Shared Narrative for BC’s Non-Profit Sector
VOCBC
Admail OutreachPHASE 4:
• Targeted outreach
• Follow-up with leaders from each of the sectors
(electronically to encourage participation)
• Surveys colour-coded to allow for analysis by sector
• Combine with the results of the community conversations
and regional analysis to create the Sector Impact Report
This project is a good example where the sum of the parts contributed to the
whole. For this, we would like to thank a number of people for their faith in the
project and their contribution to the outcome.
Recognition and Appreciation
