The Network Abuse Bof was held on Tuesday September 15th from 5:30pm to 7:15pm in the Lincoln Room. 34 people attended to discuss topics including global collaboration efforts against network abuse, training law enforcement and legal sectors, the roles of CERTS and IRT contacts. Speakers from CERT Australia, APNIC, ID-CERT, CyberSecurity Malaysia, NZITF and Cybernet presented on related initiatives and the status of CERT efforts in their countries. Plans for the next APNIC conference include running the Bof earlier in the security track or as a main session to continue discussions around validating and sharing IRT contact information.
