 Administer all aspects of the Organization.
 Responsible for daily operation of the company
(Development, design operation and
improvement, and routinely reports to the
highest ranking executive, which is usually the
CEO.
 Perkins Focuses on the internship program for
USA baseball.

4.  Perkins Joined USA baseball in 1998.
 In August of that year he was responsible for
USA baseball’s merchandise and retail
programs.
 In 2003 he was promoted to director of
marketing and licensing.
 2008 is when Perkins was named USA
baseballs Chief Operating officer

10.  Caldwell was born in Buffalo NY, in 1974.
 Played linebacker at John Carroll University
from 1992-1996.
 He graduated with a business degree in
finance/business.

12.  Caldwell began his career as a scouting
assistant for the Carolina Panthers form 1996-
1997.
 For his short time there he mainly focused on
draft preparation.

13.  This is wear Caldwell spent the majority of his
time in his career.
 He spent 10 years with the Colts as an area
scout under GM Bill Polian (1998-2007)
 He was apart of the the Colts Super Bowl In
Super Bowl XLI

14.  Caldwell was the director of college scouting for the Atlanta
Falcons up until 2011.
 His primary Job was to evaluate the hundred of draft
eligible college players on a regular basis.
 He was promoted to director of player personal in 2012.
 During his 5 years with the Falcons, the Falcons advanced to
the postseason 4 times, and 5 consecutive winning seasons.

15.  On January 8th 2013 Caldwell was named the

 His first job was to hire a head coach in which
he chose Energetic Gus Bradley.
 Caldwell is entering his third year as the GM.

 There are so many different type of things going on during
the day.
 During the season the focus is on winning week to week
basis and looking at potential free agents to sign
 Once your season is over the gm is immediately looking
towards free agency and starts to plan out who to sign.
 Then your focus is immediately to the draft, then when
that’s finished its back to training camp.
 Ultimately no days off.
 “Everyday, more than 5 things cross your desk that you
didn’t expect.”
 60+ hours a week
