the suffix '-plegia' means 'paralysis of', so I will list the
word, followed by what it is that is paralysed in this
condition:
- diplegia: corresponding parts on both sides of the body
- cardioplegia: heart
- cystoplegia: bladder
- facioplegia: face
- glossoplegia: tongue
- hemiplegia: one side of the body

 -phasia• The suffix “-phasia” means “speech.”•
The part of the brain that controls speech is
Broca’s area. Some examples of “-phasia”
being used in a word are “aphasia” (meaning
lack of speech), or “dysphasia” (meaning
