Difference Between Sympathetic System
& Para sympathetic System
• The sympathetic nervous system prepares the body for the “fight or
flight” response during any potential danger. On the other hand,
• the parasympathetic nervous system inhibits the body from
overworking and restores the body to a calm and composed state.
Brainstem has many basic functions
• It do with regulation of heart rate, breathing, sleeping, and eating.
• It also plays a role in conduction.
• All information relayed from the body to the cerebrum and
cerebellum and vice versa must traverse the brainstem.
