This document summarizes the national anthem and a school song of Taiwan. It provides the lyrics and background information for each. The national anthem, called "San Min Chu-i", was originally written in 1924 for a school opening ceremony and became the official national anthem in 1937.  Before： In 1924, the national anthem is
written for Guangzhou officer school open
ceremony.
 Now：In 1937, the government made this
school song by founding a state spirit,
and it turned into our national anthem.
