Los estudiantes demostraron un gran interés en el desarrollo de la sesión de aprendizaje y se animaron a investigar en sus libros a cerca del tema tratado. Cabe resaltar que muchos de ellos quisieron realizar la experiencia en casa para comprobar por ellos mismos (en forma individual) lo aprendido.
Es necesario que los estudiantes al comprender que todo nuestro planeta está formado por materia tome una actitud de cuidado y preservación de estos recursos para la conservación de su medio ambiente.

Previously, it was believed a single gene was responsible for sterility at one stage, but research shows the gene acts across multiple stages. A strain was created containing the X chromosome from one mouse species, and results demonstrated reduced sperm quantity and quality, smaller testes, and some mice failed to complete meiosis, leading to sterile hybrids. This research provides insight into developing techniques to help hybrids complete healthy meiosis to produce fertile offspring.

Snake venom immunology proposal

Chimeras, organisms composed of multiple species' cells, are mostly created in labs and raise ethical issues since they could disrupt nature if human cells were fully integrated into other species. Most hybrids like ligers are infertile due to genetic incompatibilities emerging during sperm formation, and tend to be weaker than parental species due to conflicting genes, as seen in hybrid copepods' inability to respond to salt level changes.

Microscopy
Ferns are vascular plants that reproduce via spores rather than seeds. They contain structures called sporangia, which house many spores. There are two types of sporangia - heterosporous and homosporous, with ferns being homosporous and only producing one type of spore. Microscopy was used to examine and photograph the whole fern leaves containing sporangia at magnifications up to 80x, helping observe the spore-bearing structures.

Climate impact / sustainability of software testing discussed on the talk. ICT and testing must carry their part of global responsibility to help with the climat warming. We can minimize the carbon footprint but we can also have a carbon handprint, a positive impact on the climate. Quality characteristics can be added with sustainability, and then measured continuously. Test environments can be used less, and in smaller scale and on demand. Test techniques can be used in optimizing or minimizing number of tests. Test automation can be used to speed up testing.

Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software Fuzzing
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.

Nanotechnology is widely used for making sophisticated sensors and widely used by NASA. One-hundred nanometers is the equivalent to the width of a human hair. A sputtering deposition machine was used to shoot elements like palladium to silver/gold plated metals. This is used to create shapes and nanowires for different conduction methods. Our experiment ended with plausible and noteworthy results, although we did not achieve conduction worthy of NASA chip we achieved some moderate conduction.<br />
