3. CIRRUS (Customer Information and Reservation Repository Unified Solution) Lone Star is a frontend web
application to view the passenger PNR information, Research funds and flight data of domestic and
international related bookings.
It is mainly used to look up passenger information, Microfilm Lookup, Flight Tracking, Fulfilments and
Research funds. This application used by Customer Relations, Reservations, finance, Ground Ops,
Executive Office and Corporate. Once the flight ticket is booked anywhere, it goes through the booking
systems CEBS (Customer Experience Business Solutions) and stored in CDS (Customer Data Store).
Lone Star helps to reference data in customer support scenario for queries that includes available
balance points in his reservation, disputing credits on a change flight, or if he needs his itinerary for legal
evidence or for tax benefits.
CDS is historical database with 5 year of data which gets fed from multiple front end applications such as
Amadeus and dot com along with various backend applications. Lone Star developments facilitate the
CIRRUS to research on 5 year of customer data and provide value service to them.
