The primary purpose of this application is to provide a better online experience to the Brokerage Clients
such that they are able to interact with both - the systems and WFA’s in the best possible way. The
project seeks to redesign its online platforms and hence reimagine the e-brokerage online experience
offered by WFA to meet client expectations and competitor offerings.

2. Project Name : HPA (Home Preservation Application) - My City Modification

Project Description:
HPA is one of the decisioning applications used by Wells Fargo for modifying the Mortgage Monthly
payments. The application provides different modification options so that the monthly payments are
affordable, based on certain eligibility criteria of the borrower and thus foreclosures are prevented.
The tool provides a Trial Modification initially and once the trial period is successful, it then offers a Final
Modification.
My City Modification is a new modification program that was introduced to help stabilize communities
most heavily impacted by the housing crisis, beginning with Detroit, MI and Cook County, IL.

Project Description:
American Express uses the Personalization capability to optimize the selection of marketing offers,
treatments, paid advertising placements and other content on AmericanExpress.com
One set of attributes within the personalization capability, the passion models, segment the customers
based on common interests and behaviors. This segmentation is used to serve up specific offers to these
customers, which are more tailored to their interests and more likely to result in conversions. These
original passions models have become dated and replacement models have become available. These
replacement models are called Interest graphs and will segment the customers in much the same way
that the passion models do today.
The purpose of this project is to make all of the necessary changes in order to switch the PZN application
from using the passion models to using the interest graphs. This will include reaching into the system
housing the Interest Graph data, pulling it into the profile database and making it available for rules -
writing in RTD, Epiphany, and model usage.

Decision Engine Light provides a simpler, lighter version of personalization engine RTD (Lead 8 markets)
and is tailored for smaller markets with lower offer and impression volumes. Decision Engine Light
provides a huge step up from the current solution, PES Hook, giving the ability to target, full reporting
(impression, click and conversion tracking) and supports an unlimited number of offers per placement –
and represents a huge improvement in American Express Card Product marketing capabilities.

Realize the Potential – London (RTPL) is an innovative, customer engagement initiative designed to
enrich AMEXCard member’s experience who visit LONDON for 2012 Olympics. RTPL will offer AMEX
Card members access to unique content, including news about events, special offers, enriched
experiences and ‘in the know’ advice, to make their time in London that much more rewarding and
special. As well as gaining access to a number of specially staged events and those that form part of
AMEX ‘Preferred Seating Programme’ such as Somerset House and the National Theatre, Card members
will receive regular, tailored merchant offers for travel, accommodation, dining and retail.
Card members will be able to find out more by accessing RTPL content on the American Express
website, and UK and US customers will also have the opportunity to download special Amex iPhone and
iPad Apps.

Personalization (PZN) is a marketing program within American Express Interactive (AXPi) used to target

By recognizing customers in any channel, PZN provides American Express the ability to recognize
customers and display personalized marketing campaigns. It is a stable and scalable platform that
manages millions of customer interactions every day with the goal of maximizing customer loyalty and
revenue.
Mobile is the AMEX Mobile Application for US Card Members who login to the AMEX Website via Mobile
Channel.
