This document outlines a project to teach math concepts to students ages 10-12 through online international collaboration and game-based activities. Students and teachers will be organized into international groups to work together weekly using tools like Twinspace, chat rooms, and video. Over the school year, they will work through math topics like addition, multiplication, geometry, statistics, time, money, and fractions by applying knowledge to real-life situations. The expected results are working the curriculum from a new perspective, encouraging application of knowledge to real situations, creating an online bank of activities to share, and learning the benefits of collaboration.
