Eugenia Loli creates collages using digitally manipulated vintage photos with dark undertones to convey sociopolitical and personal issues through narratives in the backgrounds of her photographs. Nicholas Lockyer creates works involving undefined human forms cut up and juxtaposed to form new creatures, exploring themes of digitalization, mutation, and attitudes towards death in relation to humanity's anxiety about their own reflection in a highly image-focused world. Loli and Lockyer both use surreal and manipulated figures and scenes to express deeper meanings through their artwork.
