Military Professional Experience
2. 3rd BN, 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) (February 2015 – Present)
Operating as an all-source analyst focused on the CENTCOM AOR; created and briefed
multiple intelligence products utilizing Microsoft Office and several software programs including
but not limited to: Palantir, M3, Google Earth etc. Briefed concerning political situations and
threat levels in countries of interest to Battalion leadership in support of rotational deployments,
specifically enemy logistics, command, communication methods, movement and recruitment
trends, courses of action, and preferred methods of attack (tactics, techniques, and
procedures).
Acted as the senior analyst of SOCCENT-FORWARD Jordan (SF-J) in place of a Special
Forces Intelligence Sergeant (18F). Provided all-source intelligence analysis and update briefs
to detachment leadership and soldiers concerning recent ISIS/terrorist activity in the area of
operations, area of influence, and area of interest in order to support commander’s decision
making and policies.
Served as a liaison and instructor to Jordanian Special Operations Forces (JORSOF) instructing
Jordanian Officers in intelligence analysis, briefing, and intelligence operations. Worked with
PSYOPS, British intelligence and French intelligence to facilitate weekly update briefings by
JORSOF Officers to JORSOF senior leadership concerning recent significant activities on the
ground in Syria and Iraq, as well as political situations, and enemy courses of action.
Functioned as the senior Fires Intelligence Analyst for the Combined Joint Special Operations
Task Force-Syria (CJSOTF-S). Created and briefed over 150 daily intelligence products on ISIS
composition, disposition, and infrastructure derived from collection by ISR assets, providing
leadership with crucial information essential to the decision making process during deliberate
and dynamic strikes, also serving as a liaison between the Fires Section and the rest of the J2
by attending briefings and cross-referencing intelligence collected from ISR with other
disciplines.
Worked closely with processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED) crews, aiding in the
creation of dozens of PED products and conducting quality control on PED products ensuring
that the customer’s needs were fulfilled. Directly participated in the screening of Scan Eagle
feeds, assisting other members in the cell during the PED process.
Tracked and maintained daily ISR hours allocation for over 150 consecutive days utilizing
Microsoft Excel. Tracked ISR hours derived from PED mission logs over specific locations and
targets aiding in the CAT II removal and deliberate targeting process. Additionally, created over
150 Operations Support Assessments justifying the allocation of ISR assets to certain areas.
Assessments were created utilizing Microsoft Excel and validated by higher echelons in order to
receive additional ISR support.
Served as an ISR Tactical Controller (ITC) for ISR assets during Operation Inherent Resolve.
Controlled up to four ISR assets at a time providing force-protection and over watch to friendly
ground forces, as well as conducting target soaks and gathering necessary information on
targets during the deliberate targeting process in several different areas of Syria. Also cross-
trained as a part-time Collection Requirements Manager (CRM), submitting dozens of collection
requests in the absence of the primary CRM.
