Glenn Allen has had a lifelong passion for photography that has taken him around Australia to capture landscapes and sporting events. He began his career in the early 1990s specializing in panoramic images but also using 35mm cameras. While he previously focused on film photography, he has now ventured into digital imaging and uses skills in web design, animation, and high definition video to create immersive 360-degree experiences for viewers.

1. My Photographic Journey by Glenn Allen
Photography has been a life-long passion of mine.
It has taken me to some amazing places and left me with many vivid memories.
Over the years I have managed to capture many spectacular landscapes, some
unique perspectives at most of Australia’s major sporting events and worked for
some very special clients.
My story begins in the early 1990s. As a visual artist, I wanted to capture images that
had an impact. This often required special camera equipment and lots of pre-
planning.
At an early stage in my career, I fell in love with Panoramic images and decided to
specialise in that format.

7. But I also used standard 35mm SLR cameras. I used to take my cameras to motor
sports events, to develop skills at capturing fast action.

21. But that was all in the past.
Today I have ventured well into the world of digital imaging.
The blossoming of the internet means that I have had to expand my skills into web
design, animation, slideshows & YouTube videos in High Definition!
My specialty is capturing and creating “immersive” experiences… imagery that
extends far beyond the frame of an ordinary camera and allows the viewer to
interact within a full 360-degree environment.
And so begins another exciting chapter…
