1. My most treasured possession
Personally, even if someone could find me a little ancient I think that memories can be kept in
heart and repeated in mind.
So I consider that my most treasured possession is a beautiful silver box in which are all my
family photos and a CD with Michael Jackson's autograph from his concert in Bucharest.
The concert took place during Jackson's first stage on his Dangerous World Tour on October
1, 1992, at the Bucharest National Stadium, with a sold-out attendance of 90,000 of people. I
must say that this concert is the first concert by Jackson that has been officially released on
DVD in the United States, also released in Asia market on double Video CD. The "Dangerous
Tour" included 69 concerts reaching over 3 MILLION fans. This concert, "Live In Bucharest:
The Dangerous Tour," was aired on HBO in 1992. The concert received the highest TV
ratings in the history of HBO and Michael was honored with the Cable Ace Award.
For over four decades Michael Jackson has been entertaining the world and my parents
wanted to see him live, even if they were very far from the scene. At the end of the concert,
they could receive his signature on their favorite CD from that moment up to now.
This box keeps in it all the memories with loved ones. Most of my material things can be lost
or stolen but the memories we continue to make will be there forever. So every time I look at
my photos I take a nice trip back to the past and remember all the good times.
My most treasured possession may not have a substantial monetary value but has an
enormous sentimental value, as it means so much to me.
This box reminds me that you can never get back a moment that is captured in a picture and I
would like to give all these memories to my future children.
