Katherine describes her experiences attending school in Bennett from 2001-2002 when she entered nursery at age 4, making new friends, through being in 5th grade in the present. Some key points she highlights include struggling at first to make friends in nursery but becoming close with Diana Rubio, having a strict teacher in transition that would give her notes, doing well academically with grades of B, and having different best friends over the years like Luisa, Melissa, and now Catalina as she progressed through the school. She is nervous but happy to be passing to 6th grade.

1. My Life In BennettWhen I enter to school, I was 4 years old, it was 2001-2002 and I was in nursery. When I first enter to my classroom nursery B, teacher Luis said:-this is our new student Katherine. I felt very nervous because I was the new girl and everybody was looking at me. But then it was easy to have friends and there my best friend was Diana Rubio.

2. Then I pass to transition with 5 years old and in 2002-2003. I was in Transition B and I had a teacher very feisty, she was always making me a note because I talked in class and my best friend was Diana Rubio. I remember that Diana and me took without permeation the teachers markers and the next day someone said what really happened and we got I trouble.

3. In 2003-2004 I was 6 years old and I entered to Prep B. I was noticing that all my grades since I entered to school were B. In prep my best friend was Luisa Maria Grizales because I got in a lot of trouble with Diana. In Prep I was a good student and I had a very nice teacher called Eliana that always was explaining clearly and she always understand.

4. After that, I entered to 1st grade, with 7 years old in 2004-2005. My best friend was Luisa. This year was horrible, the worst ever! In my class there were many boys that were bothering me and make me get yelled by…T.JOHANA! She was very feisty especially on math. That’s why I stayed in complementary. The best thing that happened to me was that I got a 50 on the math exam so the teacher understood that I didn’t needed the complementary activities any more.

5. In 2005-2006 I entered to 2nd grade with 8 years old. Here in second grade I was a very good student actually I got the Perfil Bennett. In my class I didn’t have does boys that were always bothering me. My best friend was Luisa and she helped me to do my job good…in a horrible way, but she did. I entered to 3rd grade in 2007 -2008 with 9 years old. Here my best friend was Melissa Banguero because Luisa wasn’t in this school any more. In this grade I liked a boy of my class.

6. In 2008-2009 I entered in 4th grade with 10 to 11 years old. My best friend was Catalina Sacanamboy a new girl because Melissa wanted to be with Juliana Valero another new girl. This grade I was good and I liked how T. Kathy yelled at everyone and sneeze. Now I am in 5th grade and I am very happy to have this friends and This wonderful teacher, T. Damaris. I feel a little bit nervous to pass to 6th grade because we’re going to be the smallest in high school.
