Topic: Online safety

Description: The 10 years old students work in 3 groups of 5, in order to discover how they
can stay safe online
Aims
1. discover the dangers of the internet
2. prevent cyberbullying
3. be aware of online relationships and sexting
4. know about media literacy
5. prevent hate speech and radicalization
6. be sensible with general online safety issues
2. Outcomes
Knowledge(Knowledge): Know the pros and cons of the internet
Comprehension(Comprehension): Comprehend that the internet can be a safe place as long
as we KNOW and PREVENT wrong attitudes
Application(Application): Work on a safe and proper online profile (no naked
pictures/videos, no hate speech or bullying)
Analysis(Analysis): Find sites with fake news and analyse the elements that make a
statement fake
Synthesis(Synthesis): Create a poster offline and online with the WAYS of staying safe online
Evaluation(Evaluation): Make a self assessment of the group work. Make a peer review of
the work of the 2 other groups. Participate on quizzes created by the teacher and the other
students as well.
Affective learning outcomes(Affective learning outcomes): Create a movie with the
emotions of students who are victims of cyber bullying or sexting.
Psychomotor skills(Psychomotor skills): Create a play where all students express them selves
on how they feel when they are threatened by the internet

difficult to separate the true of fake events. They take watch this
