I edit spreadsheets using Google Docs to store participants’ personal details,
compose and send emails using Google Mail, source free sound effects for films
from the Internet, and use Final Cut Pro to import movies and edit them by applying
video/audio effects, cutting out unnecessary footage, and adding appropriate sound
effects.

I write articles for their youth magazine, draw and edit images using Photoshop,
type up documents using Word and create presentations with PowerPoint.

numbers with the numbers on the letters, keep databases of donors’ addresses

I collaborated on making a short film with a group of students in my school year. I
prepared the filming equipment, typed up a script, set up shots and edited our film.
I learnt how to work as part of a team, how to use creative software packages and
how to use specific equipment.
SKILLS
Languages I am fluent in Spanish, know basic conversational French, and am currently
teaching myself German.
Computing I work on both Windows and Apple Mac computers. I am competent in Word,
PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe Creative Suite software - Photoshop, Flash, After
Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Encore and Audition. I have
some experience of using Final Cut Pro, and also use Comic Life to create my own
comics.
Recently, I have also began using a free animation program called Pencil 2D, which
works similarly to Flash, and iMovie to edit the images which I import from Pencil
and trim them together in short bursts to create animation.
As well as animation, I have also used Flash to design and code interactive
applications, such as an educational children’s game teaching the geography of
Great Britain via personification of its four nations.
