This document provides an overview of wound healing, its functions, stages, mechanisms, factors affecting it, and complications.
A wound is a break in the integrity of the skin or tissues, which may be associated with disruption of the structure and function.
Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.
Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.
Complications of wound healing like infection, hyperpigmentation of scar, contractures, and keloid formation.

- 4. Is To own a well known restaurant in downtown Chicago.
- 5. I love cooking! Food brings people together Whether a person is happy, sad, or just a mess of different emotions, food can always enhance or cheer up their life. I want to share my passion with others I want to hopefully, give back to my community through food. Why?
- 6. But it’s going to take a lot to get there!
- 7. Step One: I need to go to college so that I can learn about how to manage a business and finances! It would also help if after college, I moved/ lived in Chicago.
- 8. It is also very important that I get a culinary arts degree if I’m going to be a chef. So I’m going to need to go to cooking school!
- 9. In order for me to begin to start my own business, I’m going to have to have enough money. The next step is to become financially stable. This task can be achieved by getting a job as an accountant of some sort.
- 10. Step 4: Find a space to put my restaurant!
- 11. The Final SteP! Design My Restaurant that includes friendship, amazing food, and a good time.
