1. 1. A leader is a role model. How do you model the Timberview Way?
As a leader at TMS, it is our obligation to model the expectation of the Timberview Way by
exhibiting good character in every action and interaction with students, faculty, parents, and
members of the community.
2. How will your contributions in the position for which you are applying lead to the realization
of our shared vision at Timberview?
I have been at TMS since the opening day and have observed the changes and evolution of our
school to the level of exceptionalism exhibited today. We have the amazing characteristic of rising
to the occasion regardless of the situation and meeting challenges as they confront us. My goal is
for TMS to be a premier educational facility that is the flagship of Keller ISD exemplifying the
qualities that make it such a wonderful place to teach, learn, and grow.
3. What qualities do you possess that make you the best person for this important leadership
position?
I bring 7 years of teaching experience, along with 30 years of real world business experiences to this
leadership position. This combination of experience provides evaluation of decisions from multiple
perspectives based on experience.
4. At Timberview we put kids first and strive to be a place where kids “fake well to come to school”
instead of “fake sick to stay home.” How will you contribute to creating this environment in the
coming school year? It is my goal to create a stimulating and fun classroom environment, but also
work to make sure students know that they are genuinely cared for at TMS. Many times the most
kind words the students hear come from someone at school. I also feel it is my obligation as a
leader for my students to help them to develop the ability to think and make good choices based on
critical thinking and good character. We are in the business of creating the leaders of tomorrow
and productive citizens.
5. What else would you like for me to know when considering you for this leadership position? I
have had the desire to pursue a leadership position at TMS for several years, but was concerned
about what I had to bring to the table that would be beneficial. After deep soul searching, I feel
that I do have the valued qualities and the willingness to serve my school as we continue this path
of developing, directing, and pursuing excellence.
