1) Cathy May Teague, a student at Mount Wachusett Community College, was selected for the state Department of Higher Education's '29 Who Shine' award which honors 29 outstanding public college graduates for their academic achievement and community service. 2) As president of MWCC's Student Government Association and vice president of the honor society, Teague has taken on leadership roles while helping with community organizations and serving fellow students. 3) Teague is a first-generation college student who overcame challenges as a mother of three to earn academic honors and plans to continue her education to become a physical therapist assistant.
