Project „Let’s Share Our Games!“

Kindergarten music games
From the very birth the baby, listening to the lullaby of the mother, learns to hear
and perceive the music, to feel the nature of the sounds. Rattles, musical toys
arouse cognitive interest. Such games help the child to get acquainted with the
world around him in an accessible, fun way.
Psychologists say that music helps a child to develop harmoniously. It was found
that thanks to educational activities in which teachers use children's musical games
in kindergarten, students learn and memorize the material better.
In addition, such activities contribute to:
 memory development;
 attention;
 logical thinking;
 perseverance;
 the formation of speech, the correct pronunciation of sounds;
 the development of coordination of movements;
 increasing the motivation to learn;
 the formation of aesthetic taste.
Children's Orchestra -Music Game
Materials: children's musical instruments - wooden
horses, bells, tambourines, maracas

Stork rolling game
Stork in the egg knocks –
knock-knock-knock-knock!
And the shell cracks –
crack, crack, crack, crack!
First the beak is passed –
truck-truck, truck-truck!
Тhen he gets to his feet —
again, again, again, again!
A grasshopper in the grass jumped
here and there, here and there!
The stork with the beak slammed -
am-am, am-am!
He fluttered his wings-
mah-mah, mah-mah!
It's so beautiful in heaven –
ah-ah, ah-ah!

The children make movements
according to the lyrics of the song.
The tulip is swaying
on a green meadow.
It wasn't a tulip,
it was a baby.
His mother woke him up
and thought kindly of him
Get up, get up, baby,
look at the lazars!
The tulip is swaying

Lazarus Day
1. The children are in two circles with each other and move in both opposite directions.
2. The inner circle raises its gripped hands and makes gates through which the children of
the outer circle pierce. So they change places and turn in opposite directions again. Repeat
the movements one more time. They end with a bow "IHA!"
Lazarus Day is celebrated on the penultimate Saturday before Easter. For Orthodox
Christians, this holiday commemorates one of the greatest miracles performed by
Jesus Christ-the resurrection of Lazarus. According to the folk tradition of Lazarus
Day, the custom of Lazarus is performed. It is attended by lazarki - little girls and
maidens, who in disguise with Lazarus costumes visit the houses on this day, sing
Lazarus songs and dance for each member of the family. It is believed that after
Lazarus, the girls have grown up.

Our community wishes you a good time.
Let's enjoy music and play the games!!!
MUSIC GAME ACTIVITY 1
TWO EAGELS FRIENDS
Children's are divided into two groups: one group of two (group I) and the other group
four or more (group II). The two groups stand opposite each other and hold hands.
Group I starts the game. When they start dancing and singing, group I jumps towards
group II. They jump and when they get close to group I, they start jumping backwards,
walking away and taking one child from the I group.
The two groups are always facing each other. Both approaching and departing are done
by dancing, and singing the verses of the song, once moving forward, and then walking
backward. The game continue till in the first group there are no more child.
“Early Music training seems to shape the young brain, strengthening the neural
connections and perhaps establishing new ones.”
MUSIC GAME ACTIVITY 2
R H Y T H M E X E R C I S E S
Rhythm Activities are a great way to bring
the class together and focus. Children's just
love to move and this is a perfect way to start
the day with some music exercises.
 Fading the beat out and in and
clapping the hands
 Children can also take turns leading the
singing task (e.g. by conducting the beat)
and introducing tempo changes.
 Children establish a steady beat (by
clapping or using rhythm instruments)
MUSIC GAME ACTIVITY 3
C L A P C L A P S O N G
The main objective of the Music and
Movement class is the development of
the cognitive and psychomotor skills of
children between the ages of 3 and 5
approximately.
The mixture of physical and intellectual
work, through different methodological
strategies, focuses our work as teachers
towards an artistic practice that will
help the early development of children.
Children's on the beginning start
learning few movements and during
the song is played teacher start
changing and adding more movements.
After few repeats kids will remember
their movements listening the rhythm
of the song. The activity can be
combined also with some materials
kids to keep it during the song: paper,
instrument or a toy.
“Music education opens doors that help children pass from
school into the world around them a world of work, culture,
intellectual activity, and human involvement.”
O R F F E D U C A T I O N
The Orff system of
music education is an
ingenious approach
that incorporates many
different kinds of
learning elements, like
dance, acting, singing
and the use of various
percussion
instruments. Uses
rhythm and movement
as the two key
elements of teaching.
In JOUDG Breshia
exist Orff music class
and a teacher for
weekly activities with
children’s.

Music helps children’s literacy
and communication skills
Music games can help a child develop physically
When a child learns a new song and
begins to sing it with other children, they
will improve their literacy and develop a
greater understanding of the meaning of
specific words.
Music will also help them improve their
communication skills by helping them to
pronounce new words and develop better
fluency of speech.
Many music games involve children
clapping along or playing percussive
musical instruments. These games will
help the children improve their
coordination skills and develop a sense of
timing. Their motor skills will improve
and they will learn how much fun playing
a musical instrument can be.
Music plays a very important role in a
child’s development. Researchers have
discovered that even unborn can
recognize the vibrations of musical
sounds.
Infants also have an immediate
connection with music as
demonstrated by their love of lullabies
and eagerness to dance along to
music. As children grow older, they
begin to fall in love with the music in
children’s programs like Peppa Pig,
Teletubbies, Postman Pat, Thomas &
Friends, and The Wiggles. They
quickly memorize the melodies and
lyrics of the many songs they hear.
O R F F
A C T I V I T I E S
The Orff Approach (also known as the Orff
Schulwerk) is a popular method of
teaching music to younger children.
Orff instruments include xylophones
glockenspiels marimbas and
metallophones. These instruments contain
removable bars that resonate to project a
sound when they are hit with mallets.
Other instruments in the Orff Approach
include various- sized drums (timpani) and
recorders.
Orff Instruments are lightweight and very
easy to play-during songs children who
aren't playing instruments ar encouraged
to dance clap chant sing and snap their
fingers along to the rhythm and melody.
In fact it has been proven that Orff
instruments enhance dexterity
concentration and coordination in those
with intellectual disabilities as well as the
agility and memory of elderly individuals.
Folk Dance
Tresenica-Тресеница (or Shaking dance in
English) is a Macedonian oro (dance) from
the region of Mariovo. It is a typical
women's dance with steady and proud
movements and careful balance of the
body. The dancers hold hands and begin
their dance in semicircle. The dance
rhythm is and there are four versions of
the dance.
S H O T A D A N C E
Shota is an Albanian dance very popular. It
involves synchronized steps, and a strong rhythm.
It is commonly played at weddings, folk festivals
and other events.
Anyone who has seen shows by the professional
ensembles from former Yugoslavia will recognize
this dance and the tune to it, presented as “Shota”.
Originally, it is a dance from the ancient Illyrian
civilization but the dance represents two things.
Firstly, it was an idyllic dance for a woman and a
man, to show their genuine interest in each other.
The second use of the song was later on, adapted
for the female freedom fighter.
Music activities
JOUDG BRESHIA
In JOUDG Breshia we pay big attention to the
activities with music. Being part of the plan
programme from the Ministry of Labor and
Social Policies we provide to the children's
different learning lessons with music.
The concepts covered in Kindergarten are so
foundational; they need to understand
loud/quiet, fast/slow, high/low, beat, and rhythm
well in order to move to other activities with
music. Preschool children express great interest
in various musical activities and are often part of
their daily activities. Due to age, children often
do not have the opportunity or can not express
their emotions, nor the experiences, ambiguities
or problems of a socio-emotional nature.
Therefore, we agree that music - in the broadest
sense of the word (singing, playing the instrument,
dancing, etc.) helps children not only to overcome
and understand various issues, dilemmas and
problems.
We provide to children's yearly to learn and
celebrate with music all the festivals which are in
our country but also some international events.
"A child who sings
is a happy child!"

Musical games have a high developmental
effect because they encourage children's activity
and independence. Through them, rhythmic
skills and habits are easily built. They can also
be used to diagnose musical abilities, to highlight
children's emotional responsiveness to music,
their musical-auditory ideas, their musical
memory, imagination, etc. They contribute to
inclusion in different types of musical activities -
listening to music, performing musical works,
and the movements inherent in them.
Musical games are a source of pleasure and
emotional saturation with the variety of
activities and emphasized melodiousness
included in them.

  • 2. Kindergarten music games From the very birth the baby, listening to the lullaby of the mother, learns to hear and perceive the music, to feel the nature of the sounds. Rattles, musical toys arouse cognitive interest. Such games help the child to get acquainted with the world around him in an accessible, fun way. Psychologists say that music helps a child to develop harmoniously. It was found that thanks to educational activities in which teachers use children's musical games in kindergarten, students learn and memorize the material better. In addition, such activities contribute to:  memory development;  attention;  logical thinking;  perseverance;  the formation of speech, the correct pronunciation of sounds;  the development of coordination of movements;  increasing the motivation to learn;  the formation of aesthetic taste. According to the folk tradition of Lazarus Day, the custom of Lazarus is performed. It is attended by lazarki - little girls and maidens, who in disguise with Lazarus costumes visit the houses on this day, sing Lazarus songs and dance for each member of the family. • 23. MUSIC GAME ACTIVITY 3 C L A P C L A P S O N G The main objective of the Music and Movement class is the development of the cognitive and psychomotor skills of children between the ages of 3 and 5 approximately. The mixture of physical and intellectual work, through different methodological strategies, focuses our work as teachers towards an artistic practice that will help the early development of children. Children's on the beginning start learning few movements and during the song is played teacher start changing and adding more movements. After few repeats kids will remember their movements listening the rhythm of the song. The activity can be combined also with some materials kids to keep it during the song: paper, instrument or a toy. “Music education opens doors that help children pass from school into the world around them a world of work, culture, intellectual activity, and human involvement.” O R F F E D U C A T I O N The Orff system of music education is an ingenious approach that incorporates many different kinds of learning elements, like dance, acting, singing and the use of various percussion instruments. Uses rhythm and movement as the two key elements of teaching. In JOUDG Breshia exist Orff music class and a teacher for weekly activities with children’s. O R F F I N S T R U M E N T S
  • 24. Music helps children’s literacy and communication skills Music games can help a child develop physically When a child learns a new song and begins to sing it with other children, they will improve their literacy and develop a greater understanding of the meaning of specific words. Music will also help them improve their communication skills by helping them to pronounce new words and develop better fluency of speech. Many music games involve children clapping along or playing percussive musical instruments. These games will help the children improve their coordination skills and develop a sense of timing. Their motor skills will improve and they will learn how much fun playing a musical instrument can be. Music plays a very important role in a child’s development. Researchers have discovered that even unborn can recognize the vibrations of musical sounds. Infants also have an immediate connection with music as demonstrated by their love of lullabies and eagerness to dance along to music. As children grow older, they begin to fall in love with the music in children’s programs like Peppa Pig, Teletubbies, Postman Pat, Thomas & Friends, and The Wiggles. They quickly memorize the melodies and lyrics of the many songs they hear. O R F F A C T I V I T I E S The Orff Approach (also known as the Orff Schulwerk) is a popular method of teaching music to younger children. Orff instruments include xylophones glockenspiels marimbas and metallophones. These instruments contain removable bars that resonate to project a sound when they are hit with mallets. Other instruments in the Orff Approach include various- sized drums (timpani) and recorders. Orff Instruments are lightweight and very easy to play-during songs children who aren't playing instruments ar encouraged to dance clap chant sing and snap their fingers along to the rhythm and melody. In fact it has been proven that Orff instruments enhance dexterity concentration and coordination in those with intellectual disabilities as well as the agility and memory of elderly individuals.
  • 25. Folk Dance Tresenica-Тресеница (or Shaking dance in English) is a Macedonian oro (dance) from the region of Mariovo. It is a typical women's dance with steady and proud movements and careful balance of the body. The dancers hold hands and begin their dance in semicircle. The dance rhythm is and there are four versions of the dance. S H O T A D A N C E Shota is an Albanian dance very popular. It involves synchronized steps, and a strong rhythm. It is commonly played at weddings, folk festivals and other events. Anyone who has seen shows by the professional ensembles from former Yugoslavia will recognize this dance and the tune to it, presented as “Shota”. Originally, it is a dance from the ancient Illyrian civilization but the dance represents two things. Firstly, it was an idyllic dance for a woman and a man, to show their genuine interest in each other. The second use of the song was later on, adapted for the female freedom fighter. Music activities JOUDG BRESHIA In JOUDG Breshia we pay big attention to the activities with music. Being part of the plan programme from the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies we provide to the children's different learning lessons with music. The concepts covered in Kindergarten are so foundational; they need to understand loud/quiet, fast/slow, high/low, beat, and rhythm well in order to move to other activities with music. Preschool children express great interest in various musical activities and are often part of their daily activities. Due to age, children often do not have the opportunity or can not express their emotions, nor the experiences, ambiguities or problems of a socio-emotional nature.
  • 26. Therefore, we agree that music - in the broadest sense of the word (singing, playing the instrument, dancing, etc.) helps children not only to overcome and understand various issues, dilemmas and problems. We provide to children's yearly to learn and celebrate with music all the festivals which are in our country but also some international events. "A child who sings is a happy child!"
