Base Clef
Base Clef
     A
 G       Just like Treble Clef, Base Clef
             can be remembered with
     F     a trick as well. The notes in
              the spaces are A,C,E,G
 E            or All Cows Eat Grass.

     D      The notes on the lines are
 C              G,B,D,F,A and it
              can be remembered
     B        as Green Bay Drops
               Footballs Always.

Whole Note
The Whole note is the base of of all notes. In 4/4 time the
           whole note is equal is four beats.




            This would receive
                four beats.
Half Note
  The half note got its name because is it equal to half the
 amount of a whole note. In 4/4 time the half note receives
                          two beats.




Each half note would get two beats.
     Together both half notes
 together would total to four beats.
Quarter Note
The quarter note is half of the half note and a quarter of a
whole note. In 4/4 time the quarter note receives one beat.




            This would receive
                two beats.
Eighth Note
An eighth note is half of a quarter note and it takes eight
eighth notes to make a whole note. In 4/4 time an eighth
              note would receive half a beat.




             This would receive
                 one beat.
Sixteenth Note
  The sixteenth note is half of an eighth note and it takes
sixteen notes to equal a whole note. In 4/4 time each note
   would receive half of a half of beat, or 1/4 of a beat.




               This is equal to
                half a beat.
