The troubled history in the treatment of cultures along with cultural clashes concerning Migrants and European hosts expresses that it should aim more towards tolerance than that of intolerant behaviors. In addition communities can try to understand unfamiliar practices rather than immediately condemning them. interpret it according to their systems of beliefs. Cultural
influences on though have a major influence on how the
memory of these events will be recounted in the future.
Understanding cultural motivation is a major aspect of
Multicultural Psychology. Individualism will cause the person
to remember the event as the self being a part of it. Collectivists
will remember it from the outside looking in. Cultures tend to
change when people such as the migrants come into contact with
the culture of their host country. The men in this situation were
appauled at the perceived immoral conduct of the Western
woman. This in turn caused them to act in a manner that it
completely morally unacceptable in Western Culture. Before the
conduct displayed in this story can be fully understood, it is
first necessary to understand the heavy influence that
Multiculturalism has on contemporary societies.

Tensions in Europe have been rising because of the disparate
burden faced by some countries. BBC news (2016) reported
More than a million migrants and refugees crossed into Europe
in 2015, sparking a crisis as countries struggled to cope with the
influx, and creating division in how the government and the
people deal with crisis. Perception causing culture conflict has
been evident. Therefore, resolving multicultural conflict
appears to be a pressing matter within these burdened
communities.
