Professor teaches courses on global conflict studies, international relations focusing on Africa and the Middle East, and globalization and world politics. He also teaches applied cross-cultural communication and global communication. He serves as the Director of the Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program and is a member of the Community Advisory Board and Content & Community Outreach Committee of WMFE Public Radio Florida. He has authored several books on the political history and development of Guinea and is a member of various academic associations.
