- 7. The direct link to the book is in blue and I have also included the number of simultaneous users, if there is a limit.
- 8. You will be prompted to “authenticate” or log in to access any of the libraries’ electronic resources. You will use the 1st box.
- 9. If all of the “copies” that we have purchased are being used you will get a “Turn-away” notice. You will need to check back at a later time. After 15 minutes of inactivity the platform will automatically log the user out and it will make the book available to someone else to use.
- 10. Each store/platform has its own layout and capabilities
- 11. From the textbook list, here is another class but this time, the book Is not available electronically. It is in PRINT & on RESERVE which means it can only be used in the Library. For distance users….you can request a chapter via Interlibrary Loan Reserve = Can’t Check Out Request a Chapter via ILL
- 12. To request a scanned chapter of a Reserve book, click on [Interlibrary Loan]
- 14. Fill in all of the information, indicate your campus affiliation, then scroll to the bottom & click [submit]
- 16. If it is “circulating” you can request it to be mailed to you: LOCAL: Will send from Sherman Library to HPD Library Distance Users: they will mail it to you
- 17. You will still have to indicate your campus affiliation You are responsible for return postage.
