The Trackfin initiative, organized by the World Health Organization, aims to enhance financial tracking in the water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) sector in Morocco, addressing the lack of consolidated financial data for effective policy-making. The initiative involves a comprehensive study on expenditure across various WASH stakeholders and has been structured to answer critical questions regarding funding sources, expenditure distribution, and sanitation coverage. The results showcase a significant increase in WASH expenditure from 2009 to 2011, emphasizing the importance of private and public sector contributions to improve service delivery.
