2. For many years now there has been a debate of whether or
not NASA landed men on the moon during the Apollo 11
mission?
The question is did the Apollo 11
launch happen?
3. My Claim
As a fellow American, I believe that NASA did indeed land on the
moon and that America did have the first person to ever step foot on the
lunar surface.
5. What supports this?
NASA carried back many geological samples of the moon back to earth with them. All
together they collected 22 kilograms of material from the lunar surface. In these
samples were fine grain surface soil, fifty moon rocks and two core samples. These
core samples were from up to 13 centimeters below the surface of the moon. In
November of 1969 Richard Nixon asked NASA to create displays of the material and
the all the different states and nations flags that went to the moon on the mission.
These contained .05 grams of moon dust. These were presented encased in an acrylic
button and given to Nations leaders. There are 5 lunar samples at the National Air and
Space Museum in Washington, DC. People can actually touch a moon rock in this
museum.
7. What they don't realize is...
The rocks said to be collected from the moon are of a different chemical make up than
rocks on earth. According to studies these moon rocks appear to be formed in an
environment that has little to no water or oxygen.
8. Need More?
The mission was all “open Media” So
the media was there to verify the
mission to the moon.
10. They have everything
available on film
In 1958 NASA established and have operated under an “open” program. This allowed
the media to be part of this historical mission, and allowed civilians to watch and listen
to the landing on the moon. There is proof in the photographs and film are not faked
and that the mission really did happen. The photo’s and footage were indeed taken on
the moon. The flag blowing in the wind, the dust blowing, and the shadows are used as
some of the naysayers so said “proof”. These are attempts of evidence against the
mission. However there is proof in each of the photo’s that make them authentic.
11. But, uhh… The flag blew in the wind.
This was an easy theory to debunk, inside nasa's formal
letter debunking the theories it states that the lunar surface
is very hard and and the astronaut was twisting the flag to
get it into the ground. As the flag was twisted it seem to
wave in the wind because it had a mesh frame and there is
no air resistance to slow the flag, therefore the flag moved
with the astronaut.
12. Simply put...
On July 20th 1969, Neil Armstrong DID in fact take “One
small step for a man; one giant leap for mankind.”
