Main challenges: Language barrier for technical terms, difference in negotiation
styles.
General objective: Give the company’s executives a in depth course on ways to
facilitate negotiations with Asian businessmen.
Program duration: A week.
2. Define the topic list of your program and the objectives of each topic.
Tolerance.
Cultural differences.
Dos and don’ts.
Brief language introduction for company related technical terms.
Negotiation styles.
3. Explain how you will manage the specific needs of the language for the
cultural factor.
Bring in an Asian teacher to go over certain key terms that could be useful.
4. Explain how you will manage the specific needs of the time to set
agreements.
Let the company’s executives know that there is no pressure to rush negotiation,
to take things slowly.
5. Explain generally the dynamic of the program of the ways to participate,
explain the topics, the application, etc.
One-week course that touches topics such as: Tolerance, cultural differences,
dos and don’ts, brief language introduction for company related technical terms
and negotiation styles. The course will be given in the mornings for a duration of
one hour and a half. Exercises will be implemented such as dry runs.
