Crumple newspaper into a torso shape and add limbs with smaller pieces of paper taped into place. Layer clay over the paper shape while comparing to a photo reference. Add clay details over multiple days before glazing the finished sculpture.

9. Pat and add layers of newspaper to build up torso of your creature

10. Look at photo and see what limbs you will need. Add where needed with
smaller pieces of newspaper, fasten with blue tape

11. Make sure limbs are placed where you want them, and then fasten more
securely with more blue tape.

12. Compare to your source, see if your shape is proportional to the picture.
Roll out small slabs of clay and begin to layer over torso.

13. Over next few days, add clay limbs, texture and detail
