Poblet Monastery is a large Cistercian abbey located in Catalonia, Spain that was founded in 1150 and remains home to 29 monks. It gained renown for its library starting in the 13th century that contained works on law and history, and has also been an important spiritual center for the region, being declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1991.
