Grandma finds a large peach by the river and takes it home. When cut open, a boy is born from the peach and is named Momotaro. Momotaro befriends a monkey, pheasant, and dog. They go together to confront and defeat demons that are troubling people. Momotaro and his grandparents then live happily together.
