The story of Momotaro tells of a grandmother who finds a peach floating down the river with a baby boy inside named Momotaro. Momotaro grows up and sets off with a monkey, dog, and pheasant to defeat demons on an island. After obtaining treasures from the demons, Momotaro returns home where everyone lives happily.
