Cooperative Extension Service
Coordinate with weed groups, agencies, and maintenance
staff that want to conduct herbicide spraying within the
DOT&PF ROW under the DOT&PF M&O Integrated
Vegetation management Plan (IVMP)

12. Conduct training presentations for the statewide
managers meeting, the statewide airport managers
meeting, the M&O Leadership Academy, maintenance
station foremen and staff, various invasive weeds
groups, and any other groups requesting information
on DOT&PF M&O practices and policies

13. M&O is asked to do a wide variety of environmental
research and tasks for environmental questions and
issues that arise outside of construction projects. This
makes for a dynamic role that constantly offers new
challenges, new learning opportunities, and new
responsibilities.
