On behalf of the Mitacs Globalink program, this is to confirm that Mani Vinay Kumar Kotipalli was a 
recipient of a Mitacs Globalink scholarship.  Mani Vinay Kumar participated in a research internship with 
Professor Timothy Kieffer at University of British Columbia, in Vancouver, BC, from 15 May 2012 to 28 
July 2012. 
The Mitacs Globalink scholarship covered Mani Vinay Kumar’s accommodation for the duration of the 
internship, medical insurance and visa fees. Mani Vinay Kumar was also reimbursed $1500 for flight 
expenses and received $2000 during his 10 weeks of research internship in Canada. The funds received 
were allocated to Mani Vinay Kumar‘s personal credit card which was provided to him after his arrival in 
Canada.
