Your dwellings, Lord, are places of love,
And Your nearness is clear as things seen,
not guessed of.
My dream took me to Your Temple’s mount
to sing in all its lovely worshiping and bring
My offerings with their libations.
Around me swirled thick smoke
and ministrations, sweet to my ears, of
Levites at their stations.
I woke, but when I did you still were there
For me to thank you as befits my prayer.

How are the dwellings of the Most High
given to devastation!
The children in exile
are far from their borders
They move about and are dispersed
between roaring lions
Indeed the young men torment them.

To mighty God, o sons of God
In chorus raise your song.
In common counsel give your thanks
To his holiness and law.

God gladdens his people’s flock,
He leads them in his face’s light
To be praised in his praise.
