The Leisure Reef fishing and Boating Foundation has retained Pile and Co. consulting to oversee selecting an agency for their $36 million advertising campaign promoting boating, fishing and nature conservation. Pile and Co. is contacting mid-size and large agencies across the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and New York with strong creative portfolios. The RFP suggests the Foundation wants emotional, aspirational ads that promote boating, fishing and nature appreciation while fostering aquatic resource protection. Several agencies known to pitch for outdoor clients, such as Mullen and Crispin Porter & Bogusky, are expected to respond. Semifinalists will be named next week and a winner selected in May.
