HOME SCENE
1. Making fire in the stove
The room with a stove door open
On the floor there are several things:
-paper
-matches
-small pieces of wood
-large pieces of wood
The instructions are given to the child on the screen:
“Drag and drop the things to necessary places in order to make fire into the
oven.“
The player has to drag and drop the items to the stove in the correct order as it
is given below:
1) paper
2) small pieces of wood
3) large pieces of wood
4) matches into the hand
Now the player switches a match and lights it. When the things are placed
in the correct order the fire will burn. The door closes and a message
appears on the screen: “Well done! Father is warm now and will not wake
up.“
If not, the fire will not burn and the player has not learned the skill. A
message appears on the screen: “Oh no! Father might wake up now.
Quick, you must do something before he does.“ (If the random event
happens that father wakes up, the player will get beaten, and has to start
the game all over again. If not, another mini-game is offered.)
2. Cooking food.
Mother is in trouble. When father wakes up, she has to have food ready! Mother
says to the player and kids: “You have to go and get me some food now! Father
wants to eat when he wakes up. As long as you help me, he will not notice that
we are having a problem.“ Mother gives the player some money and continues
working.
The player and the kids go to the market and they see the following shops:
1) butcher’s
2) Sainsbury’s*
3) dairy products
4) McDonald’s*
5) baker’s
6) coloured candy *
7) greengrocer’s
8) canned food
9) processed food *

2. 10) Tesco *
The player has to click on five shops and enter them. The player takes the goods
from all five shops, and returns home.
a) If they choose the correct options, they will enter the shops, get their
products and return home. Mother is happy, thanks the player and the children,
and starts cooking
b) If they choose one incorrect option, they will take the goods from the shops,
return home, and give the food to mother. Mother will open the bag, see wrong
goods there, and start shouting at the kids:
“Why you little...! You cannot even choose the proper food for your dad,
eh!“*
*If dad wakes up, the kids are beaten up, and the player has to
start all over again, if not, the player will get another mini-game.
