bandana before being
blindfolded. Once
blindfolded I asked
Elias how many
balloons were on the
bandana. He said 5 or
6, but when I had
Sasha count them she
found there were
none!

Elias’s second activity was to tell us
where his birthday present was located
and what it was while remaining
blindfolded. He was encouraged to ask
“Yes”/”No” questions and move around
to help him find and identify it.

The semifinalists told us their names and described what
they did and why it is important.

The semifinalists were
blindfolded and presented
with a random number. I
called out each number
and the audience voted by
applause for each number.
The semifinalists then
decided which number
had the most applause.

21. Prizes For Champion Ernesto
Champion Ernesto completed the final exam which was to name everyone on stage.
Initially, he named everyone but Ron and himself. When asked he named Ron and when
asked again he named himself. Then he received his prizes.
