Born again – The Charter 
Rotary Club of Delhi Millennium Chartered on 24th June 2014 
Rotary Club of Delhi Millennium, sponsored by Rotary Club of Delhi South Central was 
Chartered on 24th June 2014 at Hotel Taj Palace by then DG Rtn.Vinod Bansal. 
It was a rebirth for all the charter members of RCDM who were all former members of Delhi 
Millennium Round Table, and after having retired from Round Table, regrouped to follow 
their bond and passion. 
Rtn Pulak Lohia was appointed as the Charter President and Rtn.Tushar Agarwal was 
appointed as the Charter Secretary, at a glittering ceremony with members of South Central 
and dignitaries from the District.

Understanding Art 
An interactive session with Ms Puja Bahri 
Puja Bahri, a renowned artist, studied English 
literature for her graduation from Lady Shri Ram 
College, Delhi University, and then did a course in 
interior design from Apeejay Institute, before 
training in painting and sculpture at Triveni Kala 
Sangam to focus full time on her passion for art. 
With consistent practice and two short courses in 
mixed media and abstraction at the Central Saint 
Martins' in London, she has worked to refine her 
form and technique. 
On 25th May 2014, at our 1st pre-charter meeting, 
we invited Puja for an interactive session on 
Understanding Art with our members. Puja 
started by giving a brief overview on various 
forms of art and showcased her recent work. 
Later, she invited all the members to try their 
hand at the canvas. With every member putting 
some abstract strokes on what Rotary signifies to 
them, she gave final touches to the masterpiece. 
Members were really impressed with the final 
outcome.

An interactive session with Mr Neeraj Kumar 
Mr Neeraj Kumar is the ex-commissioner of Delhi 
Police who handled some high profile cases like 
Nirbhaya gang rape, Anna Hazare Agitation, 
Ponty Chaddha shoutout. 
On 27th Sept 2014, we conducted a joint meeting 
with our parent club South Central at India 
Habitat Centre, and invited Mr Neeraj Kumar for 
an interactive session. He shared his experiences 
as the Police Commissioner and gave some 
insights into various high profile cases handled by 
him. The session was very informative and 
interesting. 
Branding 
an interactive session with Mr Saurabh Uboweja 
Mr Saurabh Uboweja, an IIM Calcutta Alumni is a 
Branding Expert. He is a columnist for Economic 
Times and has been invited to speak at World 
Branding Conference at Davos. 
On 30th Aug 2014, we invited Mr.Saurabh 
Uboweja at our club meeting in Taj Palace, to 
share Branding insights and ideas with our 
members. He gave an informative presentation. 
Many of our members could use the knowledge 
gained in their businesses.

Blood Camp 
with Noida Blood Bank and Koenig Solutions 
We organized a Blood Donation Camp at the 
Office Campus of Koenig Solutions in Kirti Nagar 
in association with the Noida Blood Bank on 19th 
Sept. 
Our maiden Blood camp was a huge success and 
we managed to collect 123 units of blood.

‘Happy’ School 
MCD Primary School, Munirka 
Our club has decided to adopt MCD Primary 
School, Munirka to make it into a ‘Happy’ School. 
With the help of Rtn.Pran Mehta, we were able to 
shorlist and visit this school. 
On the occasion of Dhanteras, our members and 
spouses visited the school at 8 am, with Bananas 
and Biscuits for children. 
In due course we plan to improve the following 
facilities at this school: 
 RO plant for clean drinking water 
 Cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene 
 Computer Lab and training 
 Playground and Sports

Your Officers at Work 
AG Meet, DG Meet, District Events 
President Pulak attended the Zonal Meet with AG Capt 
Swadesh Kumar. Our club has volunteered to host a Zonal 
Fellowship event in December. 
Your team at work to prepare project report and grant application for a Gaushala and 
Village Rehabilitation project. 
President Pulak and Secretary Tushar met the District Governer Sanjay 
Khanna at his office in Hauz Khas, to discuss various plans, activities and 
projects. DG appreciated our efforts and helped us to identify some 
meaningful projects. 
GOV: Our club’s GOV (Governer’s Official Visit) has been scheduled 
for Saturday 22nd Nov at Hotel Taj Palace. 
Attended the Dussehra Dhamaka hosted by Rotary Achievers at Tivoli Garden 
Rtn.Tushar attended the District Conference at Hotel Taj 
Palace on 30th June, where DG presented the Club Charter 
and special appreciation plaque for President Pulak 
Rtn.Alok attended the Rotary Foundation Seminar on 17-Jul, 
to gain insight about various project grants

Installation of our parent club South Central 
Museum Visit 
AG Meet, DG Meet, District Events 
Rtn.Kapil organized an educative fellowship tour to Modern Art Museum for the 
members and their families on 27th Jul. Several members, spouses and children went 
for this. At theend of it, children were encouraged to submit a writeup on the 
artwork they saw. 
The Museum visit was followed by lunch at Hotel Park where we were joined by 
Round Tablers from DMRT 149.

Pangea Party 
Clubbing fellowship at Pangea Night Club 
On 12th Sept a clubbing fellowship was organized by Rtn.Pankaj Vats 
and Rtn.Kapil Aggarwal at Pangea Night Club. 
We had a good time and bonding as couples. This also gave an 
opportunity to gel well with the newly inducted members.
