Audience impact includes content, credibility and delivery. Decisions are made leading to potential partnerships, winning business, so much more than a deck, your business, your brand, you. How to captivate begins with storytelling and conversation. More than features- benefits, humanize, positive impact. Don't complicate your message with jargon. Feel the passion- contagious, vision, determination. Know your audience- who are they, what do they know about you, how much do they know, interests, concerns. Articulate your vision- see it, feel it, believe in it. Take them on your journey- compelling narrative, make it personal, why are you doing this, inspiration. Your team- experienced, knowledgeable, aligned, execute. Risks and challenges- recognize, address, plan to mitigate. Test drive your room. What does it look like? Where is the podium? Where will I be standing? Where will you be sitting? Feel comfortable. Three parts to attention. The beginning- attention, interest, what's in it for them, entusiasm, preview. The middle- core, insights, challenges, solutions, relatable. The ending- summary, reinforce, messages, benefits, call to action, keep the momentum going. How to answer questions. The Four R's: repeat, reinforce, refer, remember. Talking to reporters- necessity; Good interview can enhance reputation; Bad interview can tarnish reputation; Preparation is vital. Shapes public opinion: Elevates your brand; Establishes authority; Showcases your business; A bridge; Reputation; Trust; Visibility. Know the reporter. Audience; What have they written; Previous stories; Questions asked. Concise- clear, succinct, engaging. Make it relatable: Stories; Anecdotes; Experiences; Examples; Metaphors; Connect. Honesty and transparency. It is okay not to know every answer. You don’t have to answer every question. Control the narrative. What not to do when talking to reporters. Global State of Digital Health, Q3 2022, prepared by Finn Partners and Galen Growth. While most analyses suggest digital health investment is declining, that’s a superficial assessment. Last year – when patients were separated from the health professional community – investors from all sectors jumped in with investments to learn and save their business models. That investment surge was from exuberance. Now, the monies being deployed are strategic. More important, 2022 numbers are far higher than the pre-pandemic equity invested in 2019. While more than 60% of the total venture funding value comes from North America, on a regional level, the Middle East (primarily Israel by 92% and the United Arab Emirates) set record highs in venture funding in Q2 2022. Europe maintains momentum throughout 2022 and has not experienced the quarter-on-quarter decrease in venture funding seen in North America. Regions with increased investment correspond to established regulatory, public health and payer systems that prioritize digital health use. Israel – and Israeli-based entrepreneurs – need to keep their profiles high.

'Wicked' is the term used to describe some of the most challenging and complex issues of our time, many of which threaten human health. A convergence of technologies enables us to work with biology in entirely new ways. A chip that rivals the human brain. In 2019, Cerebras Systems unveiled a record 1.2-trillion-transistor chip. This is about 10 times more transistors than neurons in a human brain. Analyzing biological systems at the molecular level. Advances in mass spectrometry allow us to readily see almost every molecule in a biological system. Genetic technologies are now more accessible than ever. Kidneys remove wastes from the blood to form urine. Ureters transport urine from the kidneys to the bladder. The bladder holds urine until the urge to urinate develops. Urine leaves the body through the urethra. All organs of the urinary system must be intact and functional for successful removal of urinary wastes. The upper end fits under the patient’s buttocks toward the sacrum, with the open end toward the foot of the bed . A special bedpan called a fracture bedpan is frequently used for patients with fractures of the femur or lower spine Fracture bedpan - used for patients with fractures of the femur or lower spine. The fracture pan has a shallow, narrow upper end with a flat wide rim, and a deeper, open lower end. The upper end fits under the patient’s buttocks toward the sacrum, with the deeper, open lower end toward the foot of the bed. Ordinary Bedpan EQUIPMENTS Bedpan (regular or fracture) Toilet tissue Disposable clean gloves Additional PPE, as indicated Cover for bedpan or urinal (disposable waterproof pad or cover) ASSESSMENT Assess the patient’s normal elimination habits. Determine why the patient needs to use a bedpan (e.g., a medical order for strict bed rest or immobilization). Assess the patient’s degree of limitation and ability to help with activity. Assess for activity limitations, such as hip surgery or spinal injury, which would contraindicate certain actions by the patient. Check for the presence of drains, dressings, intravenous fluid infusion sites/equipment, traction, or any other devices that could interfere with the patient’s ability to help with the procedure or that could become dislodged. Assess the characteristics of the urine and the patient’s skin Assisting With Use of a Bedpan When the Patient Has Limited Movement Patients who are unable to lift themselves onto the bedpan or who have activity limitations that prohibit the required actions can be assisted onto the bedpan in an alternate manner using these actions
