THE LEAGUE/s EXPLAINED2 TIER LEAGUE SYSTEMAll 12 teams will play 6 randomly drawn fixtures over the first 6 weeks of the opening season. At the end of week 6 the TOP 6 teams will be placed in the MASOOMIN PREMIER LEAGUE. The remaining 6 teams will form the MASOOMIN CHAMPIONSHIP.
 At the end of the season the bottom 2 teams in the MASOOMIN PREMIER LEAGUE will be relegated to the MASOOMIN CHAMPIONSHIP. The team finishing TOP of the MASOOMIN CHAMPIONSHIP will be automatically promoted to the MASOOMIN PREMIER LEAGUE
 Teams placed 2nd to 5th inclusive in the MASOOMIN CHAPMIONSHIP will then take part in a play-off to determine the second team to be promoted to the MASOOMIN PREMIER LEAGUETHE LEAGUE/s EXPLAINED‘MIDLANDS QUALIFICATION’ The teams finishing 1st and 2nd of the MASOOMIN PREMIER LEAGUE at the end of the season qualify to represent MASOOMIN SPORTS CLUB in a Midlands 5 a-side league next season  either at GOALS! Or Powerleague – entrance fee paid for by the MFLA.
 The qualifying teams may be entered as 2 independent teams or as a single squad depending on player commitment.Please note – The MFLA will may league entrance however weekly match fees must be paid by individual players.
THE LEAGUE/s EXPLAINEDTHE MFLA CUPThe MFLA cup is a knockout cup competition for all teams of both leagues to participate in. The Final of the MFLA cup will be the last fixture of the Masoomin Football League Season with the venue of the final yet to be confirmed.
 The finalists of the MFLA Cup will be seeded and thus will not need to participate in Round One of the competition next season. THE LEAGUE/s EXPLAINEDExternal FixturesThe MFLA understands the need to participate in friendly matches and competition against teams outside our community in order to enhance football ability and discipline.
 The MFLA will therefore arrange regular 5 a side fixtures for all abilities. Team will be formed by the ‘selection committee’, which for the year 2011 will be the MFLA board.
 Selection will be based solely on current form and discipline.
 The MFLA also aims to arrange a minimum of two 11 a-side fixtures during the season.THE LEAGUE/s EXPLAINEDWhen?Football League fixtures will be held every SUNDAY evening 7-9pm where possible. THE LEAGUE/s EXPLAINEDCostOnly Members of the Masoomin Sports Club can participate in the Football League.Each Team must pay £10.00 per fixture. The Captains have been given the responsibility to decide how to charge each player in their squad (i.e fringe players can be charged less for playing less minutes)Captains also have the responsibility of collecting the relevant monies from their squad and to pay the £10.00 to the designated MFLA member TEN MINUTES PRIOR TO KICK OFF If any player has genuine difficulty in meeting this cost please do not hesitate to approach any member of the MFLA board in confidence. The MFLA would like to give the opportunity to all to participate regardless of personal circumstance.
THE LEAGUE/s EXPLAINEDTransportThe MFLA will provide transport from Mehfil-e-Abbas to Powerleague at 6.30pm every Sunday. Those wishing to make use of this service must inform the MFLA via email to masoominfla@gmail.com , subject – Transport.The MFLA would appreciate drivers to volunteer to help provide this service.

 Ball Must be kept below head height – tallest player on the pitch.
 If the ball goes over head height after striking the goalkeeper, post or cross bar, the ball is still in play.
 No headers allowed
 Outfield Players are NOT allowed in the Goalkeeper area.
 Goalkeepers must roll the ball out under arm and must remain within the Goalkeeper Area.
 NO BOARDING
 Players with possession in the corner of the pitch must be given 5 seconds of no pressure to get out.
 NO SLIDING AT ALL – tackling or interception.

Removal of shirts in celebration will be punished by a yellow card.

A Total of 90 Registrants has led to the formation of 12 teamsThe MFLA board worked along side selected captains to form what they feel are equally balanced teams based on ability. The MFLA has the right to transfer players at its discretion throughout the season. Players are urged to be patient if their team endures a poor start to the season as it will take time for teams to grow and adapt to individual playing styles.
