Traditionally, an airline needs the approval of the governments of the various countries involved before it can fly in or out of a country, or even fly over another country without landing.
Prior to World War II, this did not present too many difficulties since the range of commercial planes was limited and air transport networks were in their infancy and nationally oriented. In 1944, an International Convention was held in Chicago to establish the framework for all future bilateral and multilateral agreements for the use of international air spaces.
Five freedom rights were designed, but a multilateral agreement went only as far as the first two freedoms (right to overfly and right to make a technical stop). The first five freedoms are regularly exchanged between pairs of countries in Air Service Agreements. The remaining freedoms are becoming more important, however.
Freedoms are not automatically granted to an airline as a right; they are privileges that have to be negotiated and can be the object of political pressures. All other freedoms have to be negotiated by bilateral agreements, such as the 1946 agreement between the United States and the UK, which permitted limited "fifth freedom" rights. The 1944 Convention has been extended since then, and there are currently nine different freedoms

Georgian culture is centered around its unique language, dance, cuisine, and winemaking traditions. The Georgian alphabet was developed in the 5th century and includes 33 letters. Georgian literature is exemplified by the 12th century epic poem "The Knight in the Panther's Skin" by Shota Rustaveli. Georgian cuisine features sharing meals and making toasts led by the tamada during a communal feast called supra. Georgia has a long history of winemaking dating back 8,000 years that is focused on traditional fermentation methods using qvevri clay pots buried underground.
This document discusses the history of maritime transportation from ancient dugout canoes dating back 8,000 years to modern cruise ships. It covers the evolution of boats from early dugouts and reed boats used in ancient Egypt and other cultures to sailing ships in the Middle Ages powered by sails or oars. The development of steam power allowed for ships like the Savannah in 1819 to cross the Atlantic, while Brunel's Great Western in 1843 was the first iron steamer to do so. Famous ships like the Titanic and modern cruise ships like Allure of the Seas represent peak achievements in ship design and size.

5. Science is about expanding human understanding. So is travelling. Combine
the two and bring it to the northern capital of cool, Helsinki. That’s a recipe for
a meaningful and enlightening experience.
Travel is a mix of comfort and discomfort. Helsinki wants to get rid of the
“dis”. Easy to travel to, immediate access to and from the airport, stunning
and booming culinary scene from street food to fine dining and, needless to
say, spot on congress facilities. All this combined with an ultra clean urban
environment close to the nature is what Helsinki is about.
Head of Congresses in Messukeskus, Paula Blomster explains how extra-
ordinary service is what Helsinki wants to be known for: “We are not happy
with just ordinary. We aim to be the leading congress venue in the Nordic
countries and have for example, as the first large venue implemented
fixed Augmented Reality services within our premises. But the secret of our
success is our devoted staff who always take an additional mile to meet the
expectations of the client.”
