MERCIFUL LORD
Since then
Before the first
—Was Allah—
After when
He is the last
Mysterious does it sound
For men
—Who rule—
The earth round
As too for women
Such are we
The intelligent
—Upon this earth—
Like this to be
Were we meant
For a certain degree
With a free will
—Whether good or bad—
Not unless He decree
But still
He’s All-Powerful
Encompassing everything
—Despite men’s nature—
He’s Most Merciful
As was He before creating
Thus will remain He
On the Day of Judgment
—To destine finally—
The human Sea
For everlasting Enjoyment.... MH
