The Financial Women's Association runs a mentoring program that pairs experienced professionals with students to help guide them in their careers and education. The program provides networking opportunities, advice on career skills, and exposes mentees to new opportunities and experiences. Research from Harvard University found the FWA's one-on-one mentoring model to be effective. Both mentors and mentees find the program rewarding and impactful in helping students achieve their dreams.

In addition to the one-on-one and
online mentoring, each year is filled with
academic, career oriented, and cultural
events. A typical year in the mentoring
program consists of:
Program for High School of Economics
and Finance
Baruch College Program
Combined Program Events
Academics events including a college
visit, a professional/business etiquette
workshop, an SAT prep course, and
workshops on computer and financial
lieracy and navigating the college
process.
A variety of workshops on professional
development, panel discussions on
career opportunities and business
strategies and access to FWA
President’s Circle Company programs.
Cultural event, hooiday event,
recreational event, mentor meeting,
and mentor recruiting

Mentors are paired with mentees
