Mr. Momat was a student of Dr. Swart who obtained a final mark of 62% in Radio Engineering 3 in 2008. He completed all assigned work for the semester and obtained one of the highest marks for his frequency synthesizer design project. Dr. Swart believes Mr. Momat would be a fine addition to any industry based on successfully designing and constructing a UHF antenna to scale.

#WHO ARE ENGINEERS?
An engineer is a professional practitioner of engineering, concerned with applying scientific knowledge, mathematics, and ingenuity to develop solutions for technical, societal and commercial problems. Engineers design materials, structures, and systems while considering the limitations imposed by practicality, regulation, safety, and cost. The word engineer is derived from the Latin words ingeniare ("to contrive, devise") and ingenium ("cleverness").

WHAT IS ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING?
Electrical engineering is a field of engineering that generally deals with the study and application of electricity electronics and electromagnetism. This field first became an identifiable occupation in the latter half of the 19th century after commercialization of the electric telegraph, the telephone, and electric power distribution and use. Subsequently, broadcasting and recording media made electronics part of daily life. The invention of the transistor, and later the integrated circuit, brought down the cost of electronics to the point they can be used in almost any household object

Dear Sir / Madam
Mr. Momat attended my Radio Engineering 3 class during 2008 where he obtained a final mark of
62%. Mr. Momat was a very friendly student who completed all the assigned work for the semester.
He obtained one of the highest marks for his frequency synthesizer design and also successfully
designed and constructed a UHF antenna to scale. I believe Mr. Momat will prove to be a fine
addition to Industry.
Kind regards
