3. When we are young we take the smooth and
glowing skin as ours by right. However as we
age, those lines in the mirror become hard to
take. Who is that old lady staring back at me

4.  Aloe is a potent natural
source of alpha-hydroxy acids
that are found in pricey facial
care products. The thick juice
from a broken leaf of aloe is
an excellent home beauty
treatment to nourish the skin
and diminish wrinkles -if you
don't have aloe as a house
plant use only the purest,
highest quality aloe gel.
Commercial aloe skin care
products (containing
stabilized aloe) do not have
the power of fresh aloe
because they no longer
contain any tannins, and are
mostly adulterated with
alcohol.

5. Additions: A few drops of lavender or geranium
oilRecipe Instructions: :Wash the face with hot
water and a dash of vinegar to remove dirt and
oils. Apply a generous amount of aloe and let it
soak into your face all night as a moisturizing
treatment You skin will feel a bit tacky, but
after a cool water wash in the morning, it will
be soft and smooth

6. Bathe your face with
the silky, orange-
yellow petals of
Calendula flowers.
Calendula stimulates
the grows of skin cells
to fight wrinkles,
keeps complexion
smooth, moist, and
helps fight acne
breakouts.

7.  Recipe Instructions: Poultice :
 Steep 1 tablespoon of dried/1 handful fresh
calendula flowers in 1 cup of hot (not
boiling)water for 5 to 10 minutes
 Let cool to room temperature, and strain
 Apply to the face with a cotton ball or clean
cloth, or use as the liquid base of a lotion

8.  Coconut oil is a
wonderfully rich skin
care oil that is
readily absorbed
into the skin,
helping to reduce
the appearance of
fine lines and
wrinkles. Coconut oil
exfoliates the outer
layer of dead skin
cells, making the
skin smoother.

9. Recipe Instructions: :Use a small amount,(a
little goes a long way) . Apply to face with clean
fingers and massage in. Works well as a
overnight facial. You can add a few drops of
essential oil to enhance the effects. Use only
cold pressed, virgin unrefined oil.

10.  Once you get lemon balm
started growing in your yard,
you will find it grows so fast
during the summer months,
that you soon cannot make
good use of all of it. Unlike
sage and rosemary, herbs
that preserve well, lemon
balm loses much of its
potency in the drying
process. Preserving lemon
balm in witch hazel enhances
the skin restorative properties
of both elements. Use
anytime you would use plain
witch hazel, to sooth and tone
skin, stop itching and
encourage healing from cuts
and scrapes.

11. Additions: Vitamin E, Lemon essential oil,
vodkaVariations:Add Aloe vera gel, Vitamin E
oil after straining. Other essential oils like
orange, peppermint and rosemary go well

12.  Use this formula on
the face, neck and
chest as far as the
collar bone at night
and sleep while it
tones skin and helps
prevent wrinkles.
Dilute essential oils
in 2 tablespoons of
hazelnut, almond, or
apricot kernal oil.

Blends
